The most direct way to leave Nüwa for Hong Kong is a whole private car over the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge: the driver waits at City of Dreams' entrance, your luggage stays loaded, and the car finishes at a Hong Kong address or Hong Kong International Airport. On Mayline's approved airport route the whole car starts at HK$1,888 in the daytime. Ferries and the bridge shuttle bus cost less per person, but they add terminal rides and queues.

Where Nüwa sits
Nüwa is the all-suite luxury hotel inside City of Dreams, the Melco resort at Estrada do Istmo, Cotai, Macau (the resort's own hotel pages, checked 17 October 2026). Resort enquiries: +853 8868 6688; rooms book through the Melco reservation engine linked on the Nüwa page. Nüwa offers around 300 accommodations, including 33 villas on the upper floors, with rooms running from 60-square-metre Premier rooms to 240-square-metre Crystal Villas, each villa with a VIP butler. The Michelin three-star Cantonese restaurant Jade Dragon, the five-element Nüwa Spa and the 25th-floor Crystal Club lounge sit inside the same complex.
City of Dreams holds four hotels — Nüwa, Morpheus, REM and Grand Hyatt Macau — so a booking that only says "City of Dreams" can send the driver to another lobby. Name Nüwa when you book and confirm the pickup door with the bell desk.
Every Mayline booking is a whole car with a professional driver, not a shared van seat.
The route to Hong Kong
The car runs to the HZMB Macao Port, crosses the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge, and clears Hong Kong arrival checks at the HZMB Hong Kong Port (official HZMB transport page, checked 17 October 2026). Macau departure is cleared first at the Macao Port. The HZMB shuttle bus runs 24 hours a day; confirm late-night private-car arrangements with customer service when you book.
Two separate checks apply, and officers decide on the day whether passengers stay in the car or walk through a hall. After the Hong Kong Port there is no second change: the car continues to Kowloon, Hong Kong Island or the airport terminal kerb.
Hong Kong city or Hong Kong International Airport?
Name the destination at booking; the two routes are quoted separately. A Hong Kong city address ends at a building in Kowloon or on Hong Kong Island. Hong Kong International Airport ends at the terminal forecourt. Airport arrivals get a tracked flight, 60 minutes of free waiting from actual landing, and driver details on the My order page no later than 1 hour before pickup.
The SkyPier Terminal at Hong Kong International Airport is for transfer passengers only: eligible transit passengers reach the HZMB Macao Port and Zhuhai Port by transfer coach inside the airport's restricted area, and passengers who have already cleared Hong Kong immigration cannot use it. Check HKIA's current transfer-coach guidance.
Ferry, LRT and bus alternatives
Taipa Ferry Terminal is the Cotai port for Hong Kong sailings; Cotai Water Jet connects it with Shun Tak Centre in Sheung Wan and, on some services, the China Ferry Terminal in Tsim Sha Tsui — check the operator's current fares and timetables. The HZMB shuttle bus (hzmbus.com) links the bridge's two ports for HK$65 day-time or HK$70 night-time per leg (official fares, checked 17 October 2026) but stops nowhere else.
City of Dreams sits close to the LRT Cotai West station on the Taipa line, which helps with local legs around Cotai and Taipa. Shuttle and coach services at nearby Sands resorts serve their own properties only.

Leaving Macau, entering Hong Kong
The procedures are separate. Macau officers clear departure at the HZMB Macao Port; Hong Kong officers clear arrival at the HZMB Hong Kong Port. Nationals of about 170 countries and territories may visit Hong Kong without a visa for 7 to 180 days (Hong Kong Immigration Department, checked 17 October 2026); the Visit Visa / Entry Permit Requirements page lists nationalities needing a visa in advance, and mainland Chinese residents travel under their own entry arrangements. Whether passengers stay in the car at either port is decided by officers on the day.
Returning to Macau
On the way back to Nüwa, Macau arrival rules apply in reverse. At the HZMB Macao Port, nationals of Macau visa-free countries may stay in the car with a valid passport; anyone needing a Macau visa or Entry Permit clears at the arrival hall or on-board passenger inspection hall and rejoins the same car. Bangladesh, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Vietnam passport holders need a Macau visa in advance.
