Where MGM MACAU sits
MGM MACAU is the MGM group's peninsula resort at Avenida do Dr. Sun Yat Sen No. 1101, Edifício MGM Macau, Macau (the resort's own legal contact block, checked 18 October 2026). The property sits on the Outer Harbour waterfront with the European-style Grande Praça beneath its glass dome, and it connects directly to the One Central luxury mall next door, which also houses the Mandarin Oriental hotel.
A whole Mayline car collects you at the main porte-cochère. MGM MACAU is a single resort on its own plot, so a generic "MGM" booking still lands at the right door — unlike MGM COTAI on the southern island, which is a separate property. Name MGM MACAU when you book.
The route to Hong Kong
The car runs to the HZMB Macao Port, crosses the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge, and clears Hong Kong arrival checks at the HZMB Hong Kong Port, which operates 24 hours (HZMB Hong Kong Port, hzmb.gov.hk, checked 18 October 2026). Macau departure is cleared first at the Macao Port.
Two separate checks apply, and officers decide on the day whether passengers stay in the car or walk through a hall. After the Hong Kong Port there is no second change: the car continues to Kowloon, Hong Kong Island or the airport terminal kerb.

Ferry and bus alternatives from the peninsula
MGM MACAU sits a short drive from the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, where TurboJET sailings reach Shun Tak Centre in Sheung Wan; weekday daytime adult singles run around HK$192–194 (checked 18 October 2026). The HZMB shuttle bus (hzmbus.com) links the bridge's two ports for roughly HK$65–70 per leg but serves only those port buildings.
The Sands "One Bus" Jordan express line serves the Sands resorts only, and MGM MACAU is not on it. MGM runs its own complimentary shuttle buses between the two MGM properties and the ports, but they do not cross to Hong Kong.
